Whereabouts
The athlete whereabouts program requires designated athletes to submit timely and accurate whereabouts information for the purpose of locating them for no-notice out-of-competition testing.
The whereabouts program ensures that the CCES is levelling the playing field. An effective doping control program includes a large component of intelligent testing, which must occur at the highest risk times for potential use of a performance-enhancing substance. Submitting and updating whereabouts is a big commitment – but athletes continue to tell us that they are happy to comply if it helps keep their sport clean and fair.
