Anti-Doping Information for Lima 2019 Pan Am Games Now Available for Team Canada Athletes

(Ottawa, Ontario – July 15, 2019) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) would like to direct Team Canada athletes and their support personnel to important anti-doping information and resources to help them prepare for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games in Peru.

Congratulations to all Team Canada athletes on their hard work and dedication to clean sport.

Visit the CCES webpage for Games-specific information about doping control procedures, medication resources, therapeutic use exemptions, whereabouts requirements and more.

The CCES would also like to remind athletes of the fundamental anti-doping principle of strict liability: The athlete is responsible for any substance found in their sample.

Anti-doping information specific to the 2019 Para Pan Am Games will be disseminated when it is available.
