Club Excellence is a program that has been developed by a group of like-minded organizations with the vision of creating a network of healthy, strong and sustainable sport clubs and sport organizations in Canada. The Program Coordinator, Club Excellence contributes to the work of the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport through effective program coordination and support for the Club Excellence program, as well as administrative assistance to the Manager of Club Excellence and to the Club Excellence Cooperative. The Coordinator will also provide bilingual service as the initial point of contact for customers, clients and partners (on-line, on the phone or in-person).
Responsibilities:

- Coordinate events such as workshops, webinars, seminars and consulting services;
- Respond to inquiries about Club Excellence from social media, the web site, email or telephone;
- Promote Club Excellence services as per the marketing and distribution plan;
- Support and coordinate facilitators in the delivery of Club Excellence services;
- Provide support to associate members in promoting the Club Excellence program to their membership;
- Monitor, maintain and add resources to the Club Excellence web site on a regular basis. Liaise with technical staff to ensure the web site is operating at peak efficiency;
- Manage the Club Excellence Twitter and other social media accounts;
- Manage the software package to support club registrations;
- Coordinate the software application process for certified members;
- Provide updates to the Club Excellence Cooperative and coordinate meeting minutes, documents or any other necessary meeting component (such as time and location);
- Coordinate invoicing with associate members, certified clubs and other clients who use Club Excellence services;
- Manage the customer database by ensuring post event communication, sales leads and renewal notices are followed and concluded;
- Coordinate any program evaluation with the selected evaluator and report results to the Club Excellence Cooperative on a regular basis;
- Coordinate all activities related to the Sport Advisory Group including meeting times, locations, minutes and documentation;
- Coordinate all auditing activities related to the Brand Integrity program;
- Provide support to the Manager as required.
Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

- University degree with focus in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant position;
- Excellent English and French verbal and written communication skills required;
- Client relations experience;
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential;
- Professional conduct, sound judgement, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships;
- Strong organization skills, time management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities;
- Previous experience working with or in a communications environment.
Starting Salary Range: $37,000 – $40,000
Location: Ottawa
